Busy Week...

Isaac started off his week with his first date! We went to the movies with Kristen, Lauren and Braden. Lauren was his date, the rest of us were just there to supervise! When Lauren was about Isaac's age I took her to her first movie, so she wanted to take Ike to his...very sweet! He sat on her lap and watched the movie for quite awhile. He even fell asleep! I wasn't sure how he would do, but he was such a good little guy...I think Dad and I will have to try it again some time soon!

He is such a flirt!

After the movie we went to the Tinius' to celebrate Christin's 21 b-day...boy what a party! It is always a ton of fun to get together with the cousins (big ones and little ones alike!)

Tuesday we went to cheer on Garret at his Blast Ball game. If you have never experienced this...it is a must attend. The kids are pretty fun to watch and do the cutest things! After the game we went to dinner with Nana, Papa, Aunt T and Garret. Then went back to their house and played baseball in the front yard. I must say I make a great pitcher (we won't talk about how sore I was the next day or where I got beaned by some pretty good hits...) and Isaac (with Papa's help) makes a great outfielder. Garret is quite the athlete! This pic isn't from the same evening...but I thought it was too cute!



Wednesday I had a meeting to go to, so Ike and Dad hung out. I don't think anything to crazy happened while I was away...but I was happy to see that Mimi Mary and Grandpa Jack where over for a snuggle! I'm sure Mimi kept things from getting too out of hand! I never know what might happen when I leave the boys home alone!

Tonight is a quiet night at home. We might just snuggle on the couch and catch up on TV. Boring...but I think it will be nice!

I'm taking tomorrow off, so we are going to run a bunch of errands and get some things done around the house. Then we have another birthday party (yeah Kim!)in Val's backyard to go to.

Seems like we are always on the go, but it is always somewhere or something fun! Thanks to everyone for keeping us entertained! Hopefully we, who am I kidding, Isaac provides the same service!

Drum Roll Please....

We went to the Dr. today...
Isaac is now 16 lbs. 3 oz. and 25.5 inches long! That puts him in around the 70% for both height & weight! Boy is he getting big!

And for those of you who know about my slight obsession with trying to avoid ruining his head shape and neck muscles...they said everything looked fine and normal! This doesn't mean I will stop obsessing about it...but maybe just not quite as much!

He also handled his second round of immunizations like a champ. He got a little bit more upset this time, I've never seen his face turn so red, but once again he was easily consoled and back to smiling and talking our ears off with in a minute or so! He is such a happy guy all the time! We are truly blessed to have such a jovial little guy!

Isaac attended his first baseball game on Sunday with Nana, Garret, Tyler and the 2 Mimis. We had a lot of fun...even if he did sleep through most of it...and the Shox lost!

Devouring His Books

Literally! We spent some time this evening out on the deck watching Daddy pot some plants, and took the nice evening to read one of our favorite books, "Squishy Turtle & Friends"



He got lost in his reading for a few minutes...but I got his attention back eventually...I think I might be in trouble for interrupting him! He's very serious about his reading!
