Doctor visits are a bit more interesting these days. Isaac is TOTALLY on to the Doc and nurses. But he muscles through it, and with a little bribe of jellybeans (actually M&Ms, but for some reason he calls them the other candy) and of course a few tears, we survive.
His current stats are:
27 lbs (I guess I have no idea how heavy 27 lbs. is, I would have said he weighed more!)
35 ins tall (We had a hard time getting him to straighten out his legs, so it might not be the most exact measurement)
48.5 head circumference...so he has to be learning something here and there!

Break From It All
Both Justin and I had the week between Christmas and New Year off. I think this might be the first time in eleven years that Justin has taken more than a couple days off for Christmas... I think we are definitely going to have to work this week into the vacation schedule from here on out. We had a great time: sleeping in, eating big breakfasts, doing house projects, playing with all of Ike's new toys, staying up way too late, and all around had a great time.
We even went to Exploration Place with Garret one day. Here are a few pics from our adventures with the boys.

Garret is quite the pro at the catapult!
Justin and I now know what we would look like if we were a little shorter...frightening!

There was no actual offense to land him in time out, despite what his face might say!

When giant squids attack...cover your eyes!

Our biggest project for the week was clearing out the guest bedroom and turning it in to a play/storage room. It isn't quite finished, I still would like to do some decorating with some color on the wall, but for the most part it is done. For a little while Ike didn't really play in the room, so I was a little concerned that by changing things up we had ruined his playfulness. But good news, he has been playing in the room. He even will bring toys out and take them back in when he is done/asked to. We'll hope he keeps it this clean too!
