Big Week

Isaac started off the week by figuring out how to rollover from his back to his tummy! He is quite the pro at it now...in fact this morning when I went to get him out of bed, he was laying there on his tummy batting at his toys. It will be interesting to see where we find him each morning! Hopefully we might capture some video one of these days...

Tuesday we made a quick trip to Oklahoma for Rachael's graduation celebration. We had dinner with her family and then went to the ceremony. They were amazed at how big Isaac has gotten and how happy he is! He even got a tiny bit fussy, but Rachael snuggled him and he went right to sleep!

We felt bad because we never connected with Rachael's family at the ceremony, so we didn't get to sit with them. Isaac was a trooper through the whole thing, he was trying so hard to fall asleep, but it seemed like everyone had an air horn in the place, so he kept waking up, but he kept on trying! We also couldn't find anyone afterwards, so we were a little bummed about that too! But hopefully Rachael knew we were there cheering for her!

We spent the night at Sherry and Kevin's, though Kevin was away on business. Ava and Sherry were waiting up for us when we got there, so we got a little extra snuggle time in with Ava!

Then it was time for bed! Isaac actually slept really well, even though he was sleeping in a pink pack-n-play with a pink blanket...but apparently that has no effect on him!

Wednesday morning we had a date at IHOP. We ate way too much, but it was another good opportunity for some snuggle time. We got the two kiddos together for one last photo opp. before we headed home!

Thursday, Justin and I celebrated 10 years of wedded bliss. The three of us had dinner and then I went back to work. Totally romantic, I know!

Then Friday I woke up sicker than a dog...not sure if it was something I ate or just a little bug, but by Saturday morning I was feeling much better. Thankfully neither of the boys have shown any signs of getting sick, whew!

And then last but not least, we hit the birthday party circuit on Saturday. First to our friend Kieran's first birthday party and then off to help Aunt T. celebrate her b-day at a Wichita Wild indoor football game...

What a week!
