Spirit Week

Isaac's baby school celebrated their 5 year anniversary by having a spirit week. The first couple of days were a little hard for Ike to participate in...but we rocked the last three days!

Monday was pajama day. Let's be honest here...Isaac calls just about anything and everything he wears pajamas! So it was a little hard to differentiate his playwear from sleepwear...so we sort of skipped that one.

Tuesday was favorite character day (the note made sure to mention nothing scary...which I thought was kind of humorous!) With the exception of the book Barnyard Dance (which is technically more my favorite), I don't think that he has developed a favorite character yet...let alone own any clothing. So once again we were spiritless and skipped it!

Wednesday was favorite sports team day! This we could do! The only hard part was trying to figure out which team would be represented...KSU won out, only because I thought that was the only thing he had to wear. Little did I know there was a WSU t-shirt hidden in his drawer!

When I dropped off Isaac at school I noticed that one of the other little boys was in head to toe OU gear. I wondered if they would play nicely. Apparently they had a great time no matter what they were wearing!

Thursday was crazy hair day. I really wanted to put a little product in Ike's hair...but was a little afraid that bath time might be a little tough to squeeze in later that night. I wasn't sure that it would be very pretty Friday morning, so I skipped it. But since Isaac is one of the few kids in his class who has hair...his teachers decided he should participate. Apparently they don't need product...add just a little water and instant mohawk! I was quite excited when I picked him up and saw him rockin' the hawk!

And today was hat day. According to his teachers, Isaac had on the cutest outfit they've seen. They couldn't get over how cute the hat was on him.

Unfortunately Mimi Mary & Aunt Sandra didn't really agree when we saw them at dinner tonight...they did not care for the creepy crawly bugs that were on the hat and shorts! I was very proud of Mimi though, despite her aversion to the bugs, she did hold and play with him, though she did proclaim that if we weren't in public she would have removed his hat and pants before too much playing occurred! ☺
