At approximately 2:00 p.m. this afternoon we got word that the states of Kansas and Oklahoma agreed that we could now leave Oklahoma City for the great land of ICT! YEAH we get to leave the state. Nothing against the great state of Oklahoma, but it was time to get out!
But first we decide to stay one more day so that we could meet Ava at her home. You know, get the two cousins together for a few photo ops, some snuggles and then head back home.
We also knew that Nana and Papa Hart were coming to visit, so we didn't want to just pack up and leave as soon as they got here. So we spent the afternoon chatting, snuggling with Isaac and making dinner plans.
At around 6:00 p.m. we were trying to get Isaac up and around for a bottle before we went to dinner...when suddenly the loudest shrieking sound occurred and lights began to flash...we weren't sure what exactly was happening...turns out it was the hotel fire alarm. We quickly gathered up Isaac, a bottle, a blanket and got ourselves to the stairs. There didn't appear to be any smoke anywhere...and then we saw the lobby...water was pouring out of the light fixtures...not good. We decide to keep on going to dinner and we would find out what happened when we got back.
We finished dinner and got back around 8:00 p.m. The hallway was soaked, but there didn't appear to be anything else wrong. When we got to the room, I noticed that we didn't have any water! Justin went down to talk to the front desk, while mom, dad & I tried to figure out what they could take home for us. Justin came back and announced that we could not stay in this hotel (no water/no guests!) So we are being evicted as I type this. They have set us up with another hotel...but I think we are just going to go stay the night with Sherry & Kevin!
Boy will I be glad to be home!

Garret said you should have stayed around to see which of the big fire trucks showed up. Isaac may have missed another opportunity to see fire trucks up close!
