We arrived home last night at around 8:00 p.m. It was quite an overwehlming experience for so many reason, all of them great!
Thanks to Grandpa Jack for following us home! The Jeep seemed to do okay, but will defintly need to seek some "medical" attention very soon! It was nice knowing that Grandpa was behind us in case we needed his help! Grammy Mary stayed to help Sherry, Kevin and Ava this week. More pictures in the next post of the two cousins!
Roscoe and Daisy met there new little brother without much fanfare. Both seem to be very curious about the wriggling, some times smelly, noisemaker that has shown up in our lap...but all in all I think they are all going to be great friends. I just hope that Roscoe will figure out that he doesn't really need to bark every time Isaac cries! All in due time I'm sure!
Once the introductions were made...and a quick bottle, we began to look around the house. We had a stocked kitchen, a crockpot full of stew heating, sparkling floors, windows, doors, you name it and it was cleaned. So totally overwhelming! I don't think that our house has ever been so clean. Oh and did I mention that Uncle Barry took our Christmas lights of the house in 16 degree weather! Isaac has decided that he has the best families and friends in the whole wide world. All though they all seem to make his mommy cry happy tears!
And then the finale was seeing Isaac's new room! It is the cutest thing I think I have ever seen! It is so much more than we ever dreamed of! Pictures to follow soon...haven't found the camera in the unpacking just yet!
We are truly so gratful to each and everyone of you who prayed for this very day to arrive!
